Besides the safety of riding vs. pushing and the no emissions battery power, no other edger has its 22" wide cutting plate, a plate that is automaticlly controlled using a specially developed sensor for perfectly level edging every time.  the IceGuard 550 has specially designed cutting blades that shave the ice and do not scrape the ice like other edgers.
